Loudoun residents can mark their calendars and begin counting down the days to the arrival of a gas and retail heavy hitter. Sheetz has targeted an aspirational opening date for its new regional home and it’s coming later this summer, reports local media outlet The Burn.

The concept is taking shape at the intersection of Belmont Ridge Road and Portsmouth Boulevard. Sheetz is aiming to open this new location on July 2.

The establishment, which combines the best elements of gas stations and convenience stores, is poised to revitalize the shopping center. As the Fox Homes Real Estate website points out: “The Belmont Greene area sits in a practical position. It is close enough to residential neighborhoods to serve locals, visible enough to catch passing traffic, and positioned near a corridor that already handles steady vehicle movement. That combination is exactly why a Sheetz opening date in Ashburn VA is more than a retail footnote.”

Locals can anticipate Sheetz’s arrival having a relatively strong impact on area traffic, but it is sure to be worthwhile. The concept will provide convenience, speed, and a variety of services all under one roof.
