Whatever plans you had to eat in March 2022: scratch that — because Scratch Kitchen is set to open a new location in Denver in the Century 21 Plaza on 1350 S Colorado Blvd, right off E Louisiana Ave.
Founder Jake Malanoski when reached via telephone by What Now Denver confirmed the news, but would not immediately comment on the plans. Malanoski also confirmed that a permit filing for the project would make way to convert the now-shuttered Rubio’s Coastal Grill into Scratch Kitchen.
“We opened Scratch Kitchen in the spring of 2020 with the belief that delivery and takeout food should be made from scratch and designed to travel,” according to their official website. The Colorado-based brand believes that takeout can be fresh and nutritional too and strives to provide its patrons with tasty, healthy options.
To order from Scratch Kitchen, patrons can go to their website and choose either takeout or delivery as an option, then pick a food “concept” or cuisine from the services that they provide, then check-out as the final step and enjoy.
Scratch Kitchen has about seven restaurants or “concepts” that they have under their food options. These include Little Fish, Highline, Casera, Kin & Co, Greenlight, Club House, and A La Mode. You can see the menu options here.
