Bistro Du Jour Will Open its Second DC Location in September

The French bistro serves coffee supplied by La Colombe and baked goods provided by Mah-Ze-Dahr.

French restaurant Bistro Du Jour is slated to open its second DC location in September, bringing a French bistro experience to Capitol Hill.

Bistro Du Jour, one of the restaurants owned by Knead Hospitality + Design, announced on Friday that it is hiring staff for its new location inside The Royal Sonesta at 20 Massachusetts Ave NW. It’s new spot is set to open on September 1, according to Eat DC.

The French bistro currently has a location at 99 District Square SW. Bistro Du Jour offers a diverse menu, including La Colombe coffee along with baked pastries supplied by New York City bakery and Knead partner Mah-Ze-Dahr, according to Eater DC.

It also serves turkey croissants, all-day quiche Florentine, brioche donuts, cinnamon rolls, and cheesecakes.
