A West Coast Fish House that’s been flourishing in the Bay Area since its inception in 2003 has opted to expand into the SoCal market for the first time this year. Pacific Catch has 11 locations throughout Northern California. Their first move outside of the Bay Area has been to our very own Westfield University Town Center in La Jolla.

“This is our first Pacific Catch outside the bay area and the first of many in San Diego and Southern California,” President and COO Tom Hanson shared with What Now San Diego. The popular seafood restaurant has had much success opening in other prominent shopping centers like their Palo Alto location in the Standford Shopping Center. “University Town Center was like a bullseye for us in our search,” Hanson added.

Pacific Catch is a sustainably-sourced seafood restaurant with pacific flavors and fresh fish. The menu borrows from many cuisines and ingredients throughout the Pacific. The eatery’s ceviche’s are of course influenced by Latin American flavors and technique, while their poke bowls are Hawaiian in origin.

The full-service restaurant also offers hand-crafted cocktails, micro brews and a nice wine list to accompany their seafood dishes.

Hanson shared the target opening date for Pacific Catch La Jolla is September 7th. Follow the eatery’s social media or visit their website for more information.
