SuKarne may be preparing to reopen its Vista location. A filing lists a project for the meat market at 727 E. Vista Way, while a pinned post on the business’s Facebook page announces the “coming soon” reopening of its Vista branch.

SuKarne is a meat retailer that sells a variety of beef cuts. The company has more than 57 years of experience.

According to its website, SuKarne USA was founded in 2017, opening its first store in downtown Los Angeles. It has since expanded to additional locations across California, Texas, Illinois, and Florida. Its offerings include New York strip steaks, tomahawks, and tri-tip.

According to the business’s Facebook page, the Vista Way location had been operating since 2021, with its last known promotional activity dating to late December 2022. Comments about theYelp reviews discussing customers’ experiences at the store date back to 2023. Yelp and MapQuest currently list the location as permanently closed.

On September 11, 2026, the business announced its upcoming reopening on Facebook. What Now San Diego reached out to SuKarne representatives but did not hear back before press time. No reopening date has been announced yet.

What Now San Diego has also tracked other changes along Vista Way. The publication reported that Black Bear Diner would take over the former Coco’s Bakery at 605 W. Vista Way.
