Na’ Pizza is the newest restaurant popping up at 3258 Scott St. in the Marina District, according to a pending liquor license filed with the state of California. The space formerly belonging to Pluto’s has been converted into a cozy pizzeria outfitted with a wood-fired oven.

Na’ Pizza is a part of 3258 Kitchen Inc., whose owner Dogukan Solmaz runs several other San Francisco restaurants, including nearby Roma Antica. While doors have yet to open, the restaurant has been testing reception by quietly selling their pizzas on delivery apps.

Na’ Pizza is ostensibly a shortened moniker for Neopolitan Pizza, which is a style originated in Naples and distinguished by a soft, pillowy crust. The restaurant uses San Marzano tomato sauce and sources organic ingredients from local farms to bring out the best possible flavors in their pies. The pizzas are then baked to perfection in the wood-fired oven.

Customers can look forward to flavors such as Caprese, Prosciutto & Burrata, and Rosmarino – a toothsome combination of sliced potatoes, rosemary, and chopped garlic. While not much else is known about Na’ Pizza at the moment, their website suggests that they will also serve other bites such as Casatiello Salato, Pizzelle Fritte, and a Neapolitan-style bagel called Panino.

When the restaurant makes its official debut late this Fall, it won’t be surprising if there is a line out the door. Na’ Pizza will be open every day from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.
