Nutmeg Bakery is readying a third location to open in the Mira Mesa area. The Cafe and Bakery currently operates in Sabre Springs and Scripps Ranch, their new location will mix into the Casa Mira View Apartments as the only on-site restaurant.
The family bakery, led by Owners Drew and Michka Hoffos, and Shirin Soroushian, have created a loyal customer base with their locally sourced and scratch-made baked goods with gluten-free options.
Their cafe specializes in sweet or savory breakfast options, like the Nutmeg Scramble which uses local eggs and in-season vegetables. Or catch them at lunch for pressed paninis, salads, and wraps.
