New franchise branches of La Borra Cafe are popping up in San Diego. According to recent permit filings, we’ll soon find a La Borra Cafe in the Gaslamp and in La Jolla. The expansion is part of a grander plan which will expose California to the Mexican coffee brand across cities like San Diego, San Francisco, and Los Angeles.
Founded by Leon Reffreger Alonso, the international coffee brand is hitting the US market hard with their plans to scale the business across 200+ locations in the next five years. The brand specializes in coffee drinks with traditional Mexican flavors like Cafe de Olla, Horchata, plus espressos and frappes.
