Shoppers at Bucks County’s Chalfont Village Shopping Center may soon be able to throw back a cold one once again at the former location of Tower Hill Brewery when a new restaurant opens at the space. A liquor license filing shows that Ember Smokehouse and Tap could very well be the next tenant to serve up brews at 237 W. Butler Ave. in Chalfont.
Tower Hill Brewery announced on September 23 via their Facebook page that they would be changing ownership on October 1 after being open for six years with rave reviews on Yelp and Facebook.
“Six years ago, we opened our doors knowing that our late parents were still with us and guiding us. They taught us that perseverance and hard work are the keys to success. They also taught us that Family should be our main priority,” their post reads. “Remembering them as grandparents and having recently become grandparents have led us in a new direction. THB will be changing ownership on October 1. We want to thank you all for the support and great memories we’ll cherish moving on.”
Mascot Restaurant Group LLC. has applied for a liquor license for Ember Smokehouse and Tap at 237 W. Butler Ave., where the current tenant is restaurant owner Alisha Riexinger. That license is pending approval and expires on December 31. What Now Philadelphia was unable to confirm Ember Smokehouse and Tap’s opening date before publication.
