San Diego boasts a popular lineup of hard kombuchas, including leading brand Local Roots. With an already established taproom in Vista, now the brand is ready to branch out to Solana Beach. A coming soon sign hangs up in an empty storefront along South Cedros Avenue in the Cedros Design District.
The better-for-you beverage brand will set up shop next door to Carruth Cellars Urban Winery and across the street from Culture Brewing Company. Steps from the beach, Local Roots will be among a slew of art galleries, jewelry and clothing boutiques, cafes, and a music venue along South Cedros Avenue.
The brand is widely distributed throughout Southern California, so you can grab your gut-friendly beverages like Booch-Mosa, Cali Mule, and Island Vibes at local liquor stores and grocers. For lots more experimental and seasonal flavors, take a visit to their Vista taproom dubbed The Boochyard.
No word from Local Roots yet about when we can expect doors to open in Solana Beach. The space is currently a blank slate, formerly a retail space that will need additional flare in order to transform it to an inviting tasting room. Follow them on Instagram to learn more.
