Wildwood Flour Bakery has secured a home in Pacific Beach to open their first brick-and-mortar bakery. Work is underway to transform a 1700 square foot former wellness center into a bakeshop at 1976 Garnet Avenue and Morrell Street.

San Diego natives and bakery owners Noah Orloff and Lauren Silver are looking to their community for support in their opening. A Kickstarter campaign is currently underway to create their vision of opening Wildwood Flour Bakery as a hub for locals to gather and enjoy their handcrafted baked goods.

The bakery has operated from a home oven the past several years, baking for local restaurants. They source ingredients from local farmers, like the fresh wheat berries they grind daily for their baked products.

The new location will also include a grocery element, selling a unique assortment of products that compliment their handmade goods like cheeses, jams, and pickled goods.

The bakers are halfway to their kickstarter goal which ends January 2022. To support Wildwood Flour Bakery, visit their Kickstarter page and follow on Instagram for updates.
