The new restaurant concept from Owner Karina Kravalis, Zest Wine Bistro is ready to share a glass. Located next door to sister restaurant Giardino Neighborhood Cucina, Zest is testing their menu and ready to pop the bubbly.

The bistro-style restaurant and wine bar will focus on a small menu of boards, bites, and light food to compliment their impressive wine and beer lists. Their specialty is serving wines you may not regularly find by the glass and labels from across the globe to introduce to locals.

You can’t go wrong in San Diego with local brews. Zest will also feature craft beers from the area and some known international brands.

To pair with your choice of beers and wines, the bistro serves wooden platters of cheese, charcuterie, fruits and spreads. The rest of their menu is currently in its test phase but their sneak peeks show fresh salads, raw oysters, seafood tostadas, and small plates of seared ahi tuna.

Zest Wine Bistro opened doors this week to introduce their new plates. A grand opening is expected for January 2022. Check their hours and information by following on Facebook
