The Kebab Shop is in the process of relocating their Encinitas location, hopping across the street to Encinitas Marketplace near Chick-fil-A. Their re-opening is scheduled in late-January or early-February. Now our insider intel tells us the craveable Mediterranean spot will bring a new location to Downtown Oceanside.
Kebab Shop locations serve salads, wraps, and plates filled with greens, and grilled Döner kebab meats. Other favorites include their Döner fries, saffron rice, and Hummus with toasted pita.
The San-Diego born company is seeing a quick expansion with 26 locations open with at least another 5 coming soon. Founded by Tony Farmand and AJ Akbar, new Kebab Shops are popping up in LA, Orange County, the Bay Area, and in Austin, TX.
The new Oceanside location is expected to arrive on North Coast Highway next to the new Handel’s Homemade Ice Cream. No word yet on when the Kebab Shop will fire up their grills just yet.
