Since the debut of its L.A. flagship burger shop in 2009, Umami Burger has expanded to over twenty locations across San Francisco, Chicago, and New York, six locations in Japan, and a beachfront airstream in the Bahamas. Soon Venice natives will get to indulge in the outrageously delicious experience that is Umami Burger.
Among its delectable lineup of burgers, which patrons may sub with an Impossible patty, lettuce wrap or gluten-free bun, are the Truffle Burger (4oz smash patty, truffle aioli, truffle fondue, truffle glaze); the Sunnyside Burger (4oz smash patty, bacon strips, fried egg, truffle aioli, tomato spread, avocado, lettuce, American cheese); and Sam’s Crispy Chicken Sandwich (two southern fried and hand breaded chicken strips seasoned in signature Sam’s New Orleans style spice in between a toasted brioche bun with pickles, umami slaw, classic sauce). Umami Burger also offers a savory selection of brunch options such as the Chilaquiles, Breakfast Burrito, and Corn Flake Fried Chicken and Waffles.
Umami will settle into the vacancy at 235 Main Street, which had formerly housed Asian fusion restaurant Komodo. Although an official opening date has not yet been announced, we’ll be sure to provide updates as to when Umami Burger in Venice will open its doors to the public.
