Owner Franck Alphonse confirmed with What Now Orlando on Tuesday that he also owns the Papasan’s Vietnamese Cafe in Cocoa, Florida. This is his second development.

In a phone interview, Alphonse commented that: “[The new restaurant] will have a more modern feel, but the menu will be the same.”

The new location will appear in 1358 S Narcoossee Rd. Unit J, which is part of a recent commercial development completed in 2021. Papasan’s will be next door to Grab N Go, Za Za’s Sweets & Pizza and The Cake Cottage and a few other establishments.

The location is also near the UCF College of Medicine, KPMG National Training campus and the United States Tennis Association Training Campus. Close to such large hubs, Papasan’s is sure to drive a crowd with menu items such as beef, chicken and seafood pho, spring rolls and wonton soup.

Alphonse reported to What Now Orlando that their space is still under construction, and that they did not have an official opening date to provide. However, he is hopeful that they can open the doors sometime in February.

A plan review filed with the city was recently approved with provisions.
