A beloved Lowcountry eatery that recently closed its doors may have found a new home.

Grooby’s Too, a New York-style deli and bar, closed its Bluffton location in late October 2024, after three years in business. Owner Stacy Gruber, a Bronx native, was optimistic about reopening, and she has now confirmed with What Now Charleston that a new location is in the works.

The forthcoming Grooby’s Too is tentatively set to open at 48 Terrace Dr in Ridgeland. The space will offer a “similar but better” ambiance and the same menu, featuring fan favorites that made the original Bluffton eatery a local favorite.

Expect decadent sandwiches loaded with “more meat than your mouth can handle,” as well as hearty dishes like stuffed cabbage and chicken parmesan. For dessert, indulge in towering slices of layered cakes, with flavors like Pecan Pie, Blueberry Key Lime, and Raspberry Cheesecake.

Doubling as a bar, the establishment will also feature a variety of cocktails, trivia nights, karaoke, and other exciting events.

Gruber plans to open the new location within the next six months. For updates on its progress, be sure to follow Grooby’s Too on Facebook.
