Pizza Loves Emily Restaurant Group, the hospitality company behind brands like Emmy Squared Pizza, is working to launch a new dual-branded restaurant that will combine Emily Pizza and Angel Biscuit Co. in one space.

Permitting paperwork submitted to the City of Charleston shows the new “Emily Pizza and Angel Biscuit Co.” restaurant opening at 835 Savannah Hwy, the former home of Ruby Sunshine.

The project is moving forward with hiring.

“We’re bringing two concepts together under one roof in West Ashley—Angel Biscuit Co. by day and Emily Pizza by night,” says a job posting on Indeed. “Mornings are all about scratch-made biscuits, seriously good bagels, and breakfast worth getting out of bed for. By night, we switch gears to handcrafted pizza and a laid-back neighborhood atmosphere built around great food and hospitality.”

Opening in the Savannah Highway location, the restaurant would join a culinary community that includes Triangle Char & Bar, The Roost, Gene’s Haufbrau, and more.
