Shanta Gartrell-Smith, owner of the Edgewood Smoke Shop, is bringing a new facet to her second venture: custom direct-to-garment screen printed shirts.

The new Supreme Dungeon Graphics Hookah and CBD Shop is slated to open within the next few weeks at 205 Moreland Avenue, complete with a Ricoh garment printer and a slew of already-made shirts ready to go.

“I find that people really enjoy hookah,” said Gartrell-Smith “We also carry CBD for health and wellness to show people a different way of being healed and feeling better than [using] prescription drugs and whatever.”

Gartrell-Smith said that first she picked up tee shirt design as a hobby, and decided to incorporate it into a new head shop. Hookahs, shisha, the gamut of CBD products, vapes and vape paraphernalia and apparel will be available at the soon-to-open retailer.

Bright street art throughout and outside Gartrell-Smith’s shop, including a rendition of the Atlanta skyline and a snarling dragon, was painted by area artist Diahann Hudson.
