A lease was signed in July for a new restaurant at 2197 Savoy Drive. The building formerly occupied by The Mad Italian will soon be the new home of Cajun Blues, a Cajun wing and seafood-focused restaurant.

The Mad Italian has since relocated to a nearby space, at 2089 Savoy Drive. Prior to The Mad Italian’s residency, the building was home to Allure Lounge and Olde Mill Steakhouse before that.

Robert Aldrich of PHP Commercial served as the leasing representative for the deal and confirmed the news. The 3,500 sq.ft. space which was built in 1969 will be owned by Charles Jeon, who also owns Wasabi House at 5500 Chamblee Dunwoody Road.

What Now Atlanta could not reach Charles Jeon for comment but Aldrich said Cajun Blues should be ready to move in and open in approximately four months, most likely sometime in December.
