Maryland Crossing, a retail center on the northwest corner of Maryland Parkway and East Flamingo Road, may be soon to welcome a new ramen restaurant into the mix. Business license paperwork has been submitted to Clark County for a restaurant called Ramen Aku at 4031 S Maryland Parkway.

The paperwork was submitted by Kob LLC, behind which are a few local restaurateurs: Jihyuck Hwang—the restaurateur behind Kanji LLC, which has brought Las Vegas restaurants like Jjanga Steak & Sushi (formerly Kanji Steak & Sushi), Nalsso Korean BBQ, and House of Korean BBQ—and Obong Kwon, co-owner of All You Korean BBQ, an all-you-can-eat Korean barbecue spot located right next door, at 4023 S Maryland Parkway.

All You Korean BBQ’s menu offers a wide selection of Korean barbecue choices, including Angus Beef Brisket, Pork Belly, Beef Tongue, and Angus Beef Bulgogi, plus vegetarian choices like Soy Chicken and Tofu Steak. It also offers an AYCE seafood boil, along with appetizers like Gyoza, Shumai, and Korean stir-fry noodle dish Japchae.

No details on a Ramen Aku menu are available at this time. At Maryland Crossing, Ramen Aku would be part of a food and drink community that includes fast food concepts like Five Guys, Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers, and Pizza Hut Express, along with other nearby eateries like TIABI Coffee & Waffle, Sakana Sushi, and L&L Hawaiian BBQ.

What Now reached out this week to Obong Kwon. Kwon was not available for comment.
