Andy’s Frozen Custard, the growing frozen custard chain, will soon be opening an Orlando location, according to a recent report in the Orlando Business Journal. The restaurant will be located at 4161 Town Center Blvd, near Keke’s Breakfast Cafe and Gator’s Dockside.

When asked why the brand has chosen Orlando for their next store, CEO Andy Kuntz says “We’re in Tampa and Lakeland, we think Florida is a great state and a great market.”

“Orlando is currently a franchise market and we’re excited that we have some good franchisees on board.”

Andy’s simple menu offers frozen custard of either vanilla or chocolate flavors then topped and blended with a variety of ingredients such as Oreo, cookie dough, strawberry, espresso, cherries, almonds, and others. Andy’s also serves sundaes, malts, floats, pie, brownies, and seasonal specialties.

And when can readers expect the location to be up and running?

“It should be open by Memorial Day,” Mr. Kuntz says.
