The upscale dining concept Cooper’s Hawk is getting ready to open a new site within Village at Prasada, located at Loop 303 and Waddell Road.

The new restaurant is just one of many new restaurants and retailers coming to the new shopping center in Surprise. A representative from the company tells What Now Phoenix that the restaurant is still under construction, so an exact opening date is hard to confirm. The restaurant is on track to open later this year, along with other eateries, such as the Habit Burger Grill, opening next month, and Burros & Fries, opening December 2023, according to the shopping mall’s website.

The new Cooper’s Hawk will sit in a standalone site at the corner of Alexandria Way and Prasada Parkway. Customers can expect several distinct components: an upscale casual dining restaurant, full-service bar, private dining room, Napa-style tasting room, and retail gift store. Cooper’s Hawk can currently be found in Chandler and Scottsdale, while a Gilbert location is also in the works. The company is currently working on two new locations in Illinois and three in Florida.

The newly opened shopping center already has several restaurants and eateries, including Arby’s Black Rock Coffee Bar, Jersey Mike’s, Nekter Juice Bar, and Taco Bell. The Village at Prasada currently has plans that will eventually double its tenants. Other restaurants slated to open include Cold Beers & CheeseburgersLou Malnati’s PizzeriaBarrio Queen, O.H.S.O. Brewery, Chick-fil-A, and a lot more. The complete list of restaurants and retailers coming to the area can be found on the mall’s website.
