Fishtank Bar is getting closer to opening in the Mission Hills neighborhood. The new cocktail bar is setting up at 1808 Washington Street, next door to Lucha Libre Taco Shop.
Little is known about the new space at this time. A rep for the business tells What Now San Diego that the owners are still developing plans for the new bar and had experienced some delays along the way due to supply chain issues with bar equipment.
Fishtank will install in the 1,500-square-foot space which previously operated as Blonde Bar, and before that Bar Dynamite. The eye-catcher inside the updated space will be the saltwater aquarium, bringing together the fishtank theme.
An opening timeline was originally projected for April but an update has not been announced yet. A website and social media for Fishtank are forthcoming.
