The Breakfast Mug is on the move in North County. According to a recent permit filing, the breakfast and lunch spot is expected to join The Island at Carlsbad food court.
Established in 2019 by owners Omar and Fabiola Garcia, The Breakfast Mug serves a hearty menu of breakfast favorites and lunch specials to hungry locals at the Inland Oceanside restaurant.
Home of the Breakfast Board, a charcuterie-style mix of sweet and savory breakfast items, The Mug’s breakfast expansive breakfast options include Avocado Toast, San Diego-style Omelettes, gourmet benedicts, Flambe French Toast, and more. For lunch, The Mug also serves up burgers, and classic Mexican entrees, alongside “Mugtails,” refreshing and fruity mocktails.
While an official opening date for The Breakfast Mug in Carlsbad has not been announced, the restaurant shares via social media that they’ll host a job fair for the new location in mid-July. Follow on Instagram for updates and information.
