According to a recent beer and wine license application, a new concept called Delany’s Meats is coming to West Oakland at 1620 18th St A — where it will neighbor establishments like Kowbird, Kilovolt Coffee, and West Oakland Farmer’s Market.

Owner Lev Delany shares with What Now San Francisco that while Delany’s Meats will operate predominately as a butcher shop, it will also offer a focused menu — with hot items like sandwiches alongside beer and wine options — and boast a small market section.

While What Now San Francisco has been unable to confirm the news, according to Delany, the butcher shop is part of a much larger development coming to 18th Street — a food hall called Prescott West that will host numerous tenants and offer communal seating.

The article will be updated when What Now San Francisco receives additional information. For now, readers can be sure that Delany’s Meats will open before the end of summer 2023.
