Mexican restaurant closes in East Atlanta.

Blue Frog Cantina closed for good, after dinner service Sunday.

The Mexican restaurant located on Flat Shoals Road in the East Atlanta Village, announced it would close in a Facebook post earlier this week, according to Creative Loafing.

Blue Frog’s Facebook page has since been deleted.

Creative Loafing reports the space is will re-open as an Irish Pub, but is unconfirmed.

  • This is great news. The people who ran that place were terrible and the food was not much better. East Atlanta already has too many Mexican places anyway.

  • Loved going there; my friends and myself will miss them. Food was good, uncomplicated, and cheap. Service could be spotty but never had an out and out bad experience.

  • I AM SO PISSED THAT THIS PLACE CLOSED. MARGARITAS WERE THE BEST IN THE WORLD AND VERY AFFORDABLE. I STILL DON’T GET WHAT HAPPENED. THEIR BUSINESS WAS BOOMING!
