“Southern-inspired” breakfast, brunch, and lunch restaurant chain Another Broken Egg Cafe is building up a Gainesville location, according to recent public records. The growing chain will be found at 3265 SW 34th St.
“We’ve been looking for something to diversify with,” franchise owner Derrick Jones enthusiastically tells What Now Jacksonville, referring to his co-franchisee and wife.
“The food was always consistent anytime we visited a location across the US. It’s always had an inviting atmosphere. Full bar, too.”
For readers who are unfamiliar with the franchise, Another Broken Egg Cafe describes itself as “an upscale breakfast, brunch, and lunch restaurant that specializes in award-winning, Southern-inspired menu options with innovative twists and signature cocktails.”
The Jones duo are hoping to open the Gainesville location in mid-January but will be expanding with new locations in the surrounding area. They are looking at Middleburg, a Columbus, Georgia spot, and a potential Jacksonville location, but Mr. Jones did not provide potential addresses.
No opening date has been set.
