With one brick-and-mortar restaurant located at Lake Mead/Decatur Shopping Center, at 197 N Decatur Blvd., plus a food truck, Da Braddah’s Grindz is a great local spot for the Hawaiian flavors of Chef Reuben Soares.
“A collaboration between chef Reuben Soares and his wife Ariane Soares, Da Braddah’s Grindz brings an authentic Hawaiian flavor to Las Vegas,” says the brand’s website. “Chef Reuben started working in culinary in Hawaii in 1999 as a bus boy and eventually became the head cook and eventually manager of a local restaurant in Kailua Kona, Hawaii.”
From there the couple moved to Vegas, where they started Da Braddah’s Grindz as a food truck before opening the Lake Mead/Decatur location.
Now a second brick-and-mortar appears to be in the works for northwest Las Vegas. Licensing paperwork submitted to the City of Las Vegas by Da Braddahs Grindz LLC shows Da Braddah’s Grinds 2 opening at 5700 Sky Pointe Drive.
The brand’s restaurant menu features All Day Breakfast choices like Loco Moco (Grilled House-Made 1/2 lbs. Beef Patty, two Eggs [any style], White Rice w/ Brown Gravy) and 9th Island Basics (Two Eggs [any style] w/ choice of, Spam or Portuguese Sausage and Rice). The lunch menu includes dishes like Korean Chicken, Chicken Katsu, Teriyaki Beef, Bulgogi Fries, and Garlic Shrimp.
