With more than 700 locations in the U.S. and seventeen other countries, Charleys Cheesesteaks is a veritable cheesesteak empire. As it expands across the country, many of its new locations open inside Walmart locations. One such Charleys is in store for the Walmart Super Center at Tropicana Beltway Center, at 5200 S Fort Apache Road.
Behind the location is LV Petroleum, a local company that also franchises brands like Sbarro and which is behind the upcoming debut of super-popular Southern chain Bojangles. LVP Food Service Concept LLC submitted licensing paperwork to Clark County for a Charleys location at the Walmart’s address.
The brand’s cheesesteaks come in many varieties (and don’t necessarily involve steak!). They range from the classic Steak Philly Cheesesteak to the Bacon 3 Cheesesteak, to sandwich varieties like Chicken Buffalo, the Chicken Philly, and Veggie Delight.
“Every Charleys cheesesteak is grilled to order using quality meats, fresh melted cheese, and hand-cut veggies, all seasoned to perfection and piled on our signature toasted roll,” says the brand’s website.
Opening the Walmart anchoring the retail center, Charleys joins a food and drink community that includes Applebee’s Grill + Bar, The Magic Noodle, and Brooklyn’s Best Pizza and Pasta.
