Trompeau Bakery & Cafe Expanding to Downtown Denver

The local biz is coming to the 16th St. Mall.

According to the Denver Post, Englewood shop Trompeau Bakery & Cafe will be adding a second location. The business will be opening a new spot at 934 16th St Mall in a ground-floor shell at the Courtyard by Marriott Denver Downtown hotel. 

The new location will have all the yummy favorites from Trompeau, like pastries, croissants, cookies, pies, sandwiches, burgers, and savory options. There will also be beer, wine, ice cream from Bonnie Brae Ice Cream, and an inset Kaladi Coffee Bar. 

Trompeau Bakery & Cafe started with a location next to the University of Denver in 2001, and later moved to an Englewood location on South Broadway. Owner Beth Ginsberg also runs the re-opened Zaidy’s Deli & Bakery, a Jewish deli in Hilltop.

The Englewood location of the cafe is open Monday through Saturday from 6 AM to 4 PM, and it is closed on Sundays. The 16th St. Mall outpost will have hours from 6 AM to 6 PM Mondays through Thursdays, 6 AM to 4 PM on Fridays, and from 7 AM. to 4 PM on Saturdays and Sundays.
