Detroit 75 Kitchen to Open New Location in Oakland County

The new Madison Heights restaurant is anticipated to open in late spring.

Detroit 75 Kitchen, a popular food truck business ownerd by brothers Mike and Ahmad Nassar, is opening a new permanent location at 32275 Stephenson Highway, north of 13 Mile Road in Madison Heights. The announcement was posted on the food truck’s Instagram page. This news was first seen in Crain’s Detroit.

“We will be opening a new permanent spot in Madison Heights near I-75 and 14 Mile on January 6th, 2025! Our Southwest Detroit Flagship location is open til’ December 20th and taking a holiday break til’ January 6th. We appreciate all the love and support in Troy and we look forward to seeing you in Madison Heights,” read the announcement.

For clarification, one of the Detroit 75 Kitchen food trucks will move to the new Madison Heights site on January 6th while construction for the new permanent restaurant is in progress. The brick-and-mortar restaurant front is anticipated to open in late spring 2025. Construction is spearheaded by Michigan-based Siwek Construction and the rezoning request was reviewed by the Maidson Heights City Council in its December meeting.

According to Crain’s, the new location is expected to “have a staff of 25, with 10 employees moving over from the Troy location.” The owners are also adding an indoor space with up to 20 seats to the flagship Detroit 75 Kitchen location at 4800 W Fort St to host corporate events. Finally, the owners are also opening a new 2,500-square-foot distribution center at 1161 Springwells St dedicated to large catering orders and food handling and will only be accessible to the staff.

“The success we’ve seen in Southwest Detroit and during our time in Troy showed us the tremendous appetite for what we do,” co-owner Ahmad Nassar said in a statement shared by Crain’s. “Madison Heights is the perfect location to write our next chapter. We’re not just building a restaurant — we’re creating a gathering space where great food brings people together. As we grow, we remain committed to the quality and attention to detail that our guests have come to expect.”
