The New York City-based seasonal scratch-cooking fast casual chain, DIG, is opening its second Brooklyn spot in City Point this September.

It will be housed in a 2,093-square-foot space within a mixed-use building in the southeast edge of Downtown Brooklyn. The chain formerly named Dig Inn was founded by Adam Eskin in 2011, however Tracy Kim has been its new CEO since the spring. It currently has over 30 outposts in the greater tri-state area including around 18 in New York City. It also has opened up shop in popular commuter towns like Rye Brook, New York, and Stamford, Connecticut, as well as nearby big cities like Philadelphia and Boston.

“As we aim to continue growing our footprint in the New York metropolitan area, we’re especially excited about expanding our presence in Brooklyn,” Kim said in a statement. “The City Point development has so much to offer the surrounding community.”

It is known for its fresh and seasonal offerings, including plates like their hot honey chicken and spicy lime leaf salmon and salads like their kale caesar and avo grain bowl, as well as side like charred chicken, meatballs with tomato ragu and cashew kale caesar.
