According to SF Eater, Proof Positive Partners plans to debut a new concept in San Francisco’s Marina District.

Coming to 2001 Chestnut Street, taking over a space formerly home to Dorian, Morella will land near establishments such as the breakfast restaurant Home Plate, Pacific Catch, and Rumble Training.

What Now San Francisco reached out to Kingston Wu, Managing Partner at Proof Positive, to inquire about the upcoming spot, but he could not provide additional information before publication.

Nevertheless, Eater shares, “led by chef Jesus Dominguez, formerly sous chef at Taj Campton Place, the menu will center on ‘the modern intersection of the Italian and Argentinian cultures,’ per a press release, with asados, empanadas, and wood-fired kebabs meant for sharing.”

For readers who are unfamiliar with Proof Positive, the restaurant group is behind Bay Area staples such as Social Club, Westwood, Wilder, and Thriller.

An opening date has not been announced yet, so stay tuned for updates.
