What Now Vegas reported last July on that local sushi chain Sapporo Revolving Sushi, a brand from restaurateur Freddy Hwang’s Sapporo Restaurant Group family of restaurants, would soon open a fourth location in Crossroads Towne Center at 6512 N Decatur Blvd. The status of that project is unknown, but a fourth location will in fact open soon in Town Square, at 6825 S Las Vegas Blvd.
Sapporo Revolving Sushi first opened in 2017 as Las Vegas’s first conveyor belt sushi restaurant. Some of its most favored items include the Deluxe Sashimi Plate, with Tuna, Salmon, Octopus, and Red Snapper, along with special rolls like the J.J. (Spicy Soft Shell Crab inside served with Spicy Crab, Yellow Tail, Salmon, Jalapeno & Chili Sauce) and the Kanto (Spicy Soft Shell Crab & Cucumber inside with Tuna, Fried Onions, and Green Onions on top served with Eel Sauce & Chipotle Mayo). Popular ramen and udon dishes include Tonkotsu Ramen and Udon in fish broth.
Situated near Las Vegas Golf Center, the location is in a community of hot dining locations, including brunch chain Broken Yolk Café and the much-anticipated pizza and pie restaurant Crust & Roux.
What Now Las Vegas was unable to reach a representative of Sapporo on Tuesday. No opening date has been announced for the Town Square location.
