A new venue is preparing to launch this year in Downtown Las Vegas: Substance LV, opening its doors at 450 Fremont St. #270.

“Welcome to the new year-round home for live entertainment, conveniently located in the heart of Downtown Las Vegas immediately off of Las Vegas Boulevard and Fremont Street,” says the Substance website. “Our facility is equipped with a cutting-edge audio/visual system that can accommodate a wide range of live entertainment, from an intimate concert to a major production. Substance will provide unrivaled entertainment featuring artists from all over the world.”

The new venue, which recently submitted paperwork for a Full Alcohol On-Premise license, would join a thriving entertainment community that includes the Downtown Comedy Lounge and the Red Velvet Burlesque Show.

What Now reached out to Director of Operations Thom Svast to inquire about plans for the opening. Svast was not immediately available for comment.
