Located in the Palazzo tower at the Venetian Resort, the Tao Group’s LAVO Italian Restaurant is currently undergoing major renovations. A “reimagined” LAVO will open at the resort this fall.

A description on the Tao Group’s website describes LAVO as “the premier destination for delicious Italian fare, paired with hand-crafted cocktails set against an ambiance only the Las Vegas Strip can deliver. An expansive space that incorporates a lounge, dining room, and an outdoor terrace overlooking the Las Vegas Strip, LAVO offers experiential dining ranging from a romantic date night for two to a buzzing gathering of great friends or colleagues.”

No updated menu for the Italian restaurant has been revealed yet. A Tao Group representative was not immediately available to discuss the restaurant’s update on Thursday, but a building permit issued recently by Clark County shows a contract valuation of $1.6 million for the work.

In its Palazzo location, LAVO is part of a prestigious food and drink lineup at the Venetian Resort, which includes HaSalon, CUT by Wolfgang Puck, Wakuda, and more.
