Santa Barbara-based Acme Hospitality Group will bring an upscale Mexican restaurant called La Vaquera to Dan Almquist’s Riverstreet Marketplace in San Juan Capistrano.

The food hall, which is currently under construction, is set to debut this fall.

While little is yet known about La Vaquera, Acme is responsible for a handful of lauded concepts like La Paloma Cafe, Loquita, and Pearl Social.

As for Riverstreet Marketplace, the 60,000-sqft destination will feature modern dining concepts like McConnell’s Fine Ice Cream and Bred’s Hot Chicken, curated retail, local art, a butcher, and a full bar and brewery with shared communal tables for outdoor dining.
