SENA, a hotel in Marriott’s Autograph Collection, will open at OCVIBE, the 100-acre mixed-use development surrounding Honda Center, 2695 E. Katella Ave., Anaheim. According to an Oct. 15 press release from OCVIBE, the hotel is expected to open in 2029 as the first Autograph Collection property in Anaheim.

The hotel will have more than 300 rooms and will be the district’s first hotel, according to the release. Architecture and landscape architecture are by WATG, interiors are by Rockwell Group, and Sage Hospitality Group will operate the property. Guests will have access to the Marriott Bonvoy loyalty program.

The ground floor will include a signature restaurant from Chef José Andrés, open to hotel guests, district visitors, and Anaheim residents. A circular lobby bar will sit at the center of the arrival area with views of Honda Center and OCVIBE’s South Plaza. The hotel will also have an indoor-outdoor lobby bar and a pool bar with fire features, cabanas, and music programming.

According to the release, WATG’s design draws on the hotel’s location along the Santa Ana River. Plans call for a terraced podium and a façade designed to reflect changing light throughout the day.

When complete, OCVIBE is planned to include 20 acres of parks, three miles of walking trails, more than 2,000 residences, more than 35 dining options, office space, and three entertainment venues. The first phase, which includes a concert hall, market hall, and office space, is expected to open in 2027. Additional details on the hotel’s rooms and dining will be shared as development continues.
