Seattle-based coffee giant Starbucks will be renovating one of its Tustin stores, city records reveal. The business’s 15071 Newport Ave. location is set to undergo an overhaul project, following suit with many of its other stores.

Plans for a remodel were submitted to the Orange County Health Care Agency’s Environmental Health Division in September, but could not initially be approved. Revisions were then sent in and subsequently approved in November.

The Newport. Ave. space is conveniently located right off the 55 freeway and near the 5 freeway interchange. Starbucks joins many other retailers in the center, including Subway, Flame Broiler, and FedEx.

Last year, Starbucks announced a “Triple Shot Reinvention” plan to update and add more locations, making them more technologically friendly. The company is remodeling about 1,000 stores and adding a Siren System for easier beverage-making.
