Jorge Cueva, the visionary behind multiple Tempo concepts, is adding a new eatery to the Brea dining scene. Fish Market Mr. Tempo will be taking over the old TAPS Fish House space at 101 E Imperial Hwy., the OC Register reports.
The multifaceted dining concept will combine the freshest seafood offerings, sushi, premium steaks, and authentic Mexican cuisine. Cueva told the publication it will be a “culinary destination, offering four distinct dining experiences under one roof.”
Another Cueva business in downtown Brea, Tempo Cantina, will close to make way for Fish Market Mr. Tempo. This is the first location of the offshoot brand, and the company is eyeing places like Miami, Las Vegas, New York City, and San Pedro for future growth.
The company purchased the building for $7.5 million in January, BreaNOW announced. It’s a sizable facility, with much more space than the current Tempo Cantina, and will feature a spacious outdoor patio and stylish bar.
