Dave’s Hot Chicken is coming to Cathedral City, a welcome and fiery addition to the fast-casual options in the Coachella Valley. The brand will be opening a location at 31875 Date Palm Dr., according to the Desert Sun

This new outpost will be located near the Ramon Road and Date Palm Drive intersection, with about 80 feet of street frontage. It’s a 2,675-square-foot property sitting on .67 acres that was home to a former Sizzler.

Data shows that the tenant signed a 20-year lease recently. The franchisee is listed on records as CLK HOTNASH, LP, an experienced QSR chain operator that also runs several Carl’s Jr. and Jamba Juice locations.

The Nashville Hot-style chicken concept, based out of L.A., has had explosive growth in recent years. Ending 2023 with around 200 locations open, the brand also has more than 800 franchise agreements signed.
