According to a recent permit filing, 3 Howls will be expanding to the Arnada area of Vancouver at 2014 Main Street.
A representative of 3 Howls was not immediately available for commentary upon What Now Portland’s request.

It was during a distillery tour in Isla that the original founder, Will Maschmeier, encountered the legend of the Cù-Sìth (pronounced koo-shee). This mythical giant hound roams Scotland’s highlands, its mournful howls signaling the transition of souls to the underworld.
The resonance of the three howls of the Cù-Sìth, combined with the endeavor to bring the distilling practices of the old world (Scotland) to the new world (the Pacific Northwest), coalesced to create what is now fondly known as 3 Howls Distillery.

Three years ago, the reins of this Northwest legend were passed from the founder, Will Maschmeier, to Brandon Rush.
