Residents of Philadelphia’s tallest luxury residential tower will be able to enjoy world-class dining on the ground floor when restaurateur Micheal Schulson opens a yet-to-be-named concept at The Laurel Rittenhouse. The 48-floor condominium complex, located at 1911 Walnut Street in Philadelphia, is scheduled to open in late 2022, while Schulson’s restaurant will open its doors in 2023 on the corner of 20th and Sansom.

Schulson, founder and CEO of Schulson Collective, revealed that his new project will be the new go-to spot for the best bread and baked items in Philly thanks to a collaboration with known city bread baker Nick Brannon, formerly of Parc. While the name of the restaurant and type are still unknown, guests will be treated to an elevated dining experience that wows with its ambiance, decor, staff, and cuisine as is expected from a Schulson Collective project.

“I’m honored to be part of this exciting project, a stunning addition to Rittenhouse Square and a sign of monumental growth for our city,” Schulson, a former chef, said in a press release. “We hope residents and visitors alike will enjoy what we’ll bring to the table. Much like the team behind The Laurel,  Schulson Collective is best known for our commitment to craftsmanship and elegant hospitality, making this a truly effortless and seamless partnership.”

Schulson Collective’s group of prestigious and popular Philly restaurants includes Harp & Crown, Alpen Rose, and Osteria to name a few. Their new restaurant at The Laurel will be among several first-floor amenities including Pennsylvania’s first Equinox gym.
