New Jersey bagel lovers craving something new and unusual will soon have reason to rejoice. The Bagel Nook, known for unique and unexpected bagel flavors and creations, will be opening a second Freehold location this fall, reports local media outlet NJ.com.

The newest Bagel Nook will be opening at 4345 Route 9 this autumn. A precise opening date has not yet been announced.

Founder Alex Berkowitz is confident the eatery will be open in time to feature the Bagel Nook’s newest treat, a pumpkin bagel. Berkowitz assures gourd fans they won’t want to miss the confection, stating “We’re doing our first giant pumpkin bagel. This year we’re doing a 20-inch party pumpkin bagel. Pictures don’t even do this bagel any justice. It’s huge.”

The Bagel Nook opened its first store in Freehold in 2015. The upcoming Freehold location will be the establishment’s fourth eatery. The Bagel Nook also has bakeries in Princeton, New Jersey, and Las Vegas, Nevada.

The Bagel Nook established itself as a carbohydrate force to be reckoned with by adding unusual mix-ins to its dough. Adventurous customers can enjoy everything from a Fruity Pebbles bagel to the Flaming Hot Cheetos Overload. The Bagel Nook knows no bagel is complete without a proper schmear and offers unexpected cream cheese varieties like salted caramel chocolate chip, birthday cake, and bacon cheddar. The restaurant serves omelets, breakfast sandwiches, and pancakes for its bagel-averse guests.
