Weary travelers hungry for variety will have a delicious new option in 2024. Sabrina’s Cafe is opening a new location in the Philadelphia International Airport next year, reports The Philadelphia Business Journal.
Sabrina’s Cafe, one of Philadelphia’s favorite brunch restaurants, will be opening in Terminal C of the airport. The establishment, set to open in spring of 2024, will have space for 130 customers. Sabrina’s will have a dedicated 3,048 square feet at the airport, located at 8500 Essington Avenue.
Sabrina’s Cafe, founded and owned by couple Raquel and Robert DeAbreu, specializes in decadent brunch items. The eatery is pairing with Hakan Ilhan, an airport concessions operator, for Sabrina’s sixth location. The DeAbreus also have restaurants in Collingswood, Wynnewood, Fairmount, University City, and one on South Street.
The DeAbreus opened their first Sabrina’s, named after their daughter, in 2001. That first restaurant, located in the Italian Market, closed in 2021. However, the remaining spots are thriving, drawing large crowds with the eatery’s signature brunch menu.
The latest Sabrina’s will offer the restaurant’s full signature menu. In addition to gourmet brunches featuring filling dishes like seasonal French toast, the cafe will serve breakfast, bowls, sandwiches, burgers, soups, and salads. Sabrina’s also offers a children’s menu for younger visitors.
