The anticipation for many Chester Springs residents will soon be coming to an end. White Dog Cafe, a well-loved institution, will be opening its fifth location in early 2024, reports media outlet The Patch.
White Dog’s newest location, slated to open at the intersection of 192 East Welsh Pool Road and Gordon Drive in Exton, has long been in development. The sustainable cafe will be taking over space that formerly housed the historical Vickers Restaurant.
The latest White Dog location will encompass 7,500 square-feet. Once opened, the cafe will provide seating for up to 300 customers.
The Exton White Dog will offer customers both indoor and outdoor seating. The eatery has a long history of developing relationships with local artists and vendors, and the newest location is no exception. Living up to its name, White Dog will feature portraits of local pups, hand-crafted by Janelle Morrison, a celebrated regional artist. Canine-loving guests will have the option of commissioning portraits of their furry friends.
Since its inception in Philadelphia in 1983, White Dog Cafe has featured nutritious cuisine that highlights local ingredients. Guests can look forward to enjoying the eatery’s menu without guilt; each dish is made with sustainable ingredients and uses an array of seasonal ingredients.
