Bakery La Baguette, a new bakery and cafe inspired by European & Latin American cuisine, will soon be coming to 4710 S Orange Ave in Orlando, according to recent public records. The cafe will be run by Jonathan Sanz, owner of Venezuelan food truck 911 Sanz and a baker with 25 years of experience.

“As a café, are going to serve salads, sandwiches, desserts, coffee, and smoothies,” owner Jonathan Sanz tells What Now Orlando. “As a bakery, we’ll be a gourmet pasteleria that will incorporate bakery styles from Spain, France, Italy and Latin America.”

When asked about his rationale for setting up shop on Orange Avenue, Sanz points to convenience and serendipity.

“We simply saw that the brick and mortar by our food truck was available.”

Sanz is currently in the permitting process. No opening date has been established.
