Rule G Brewing Company is whistling into town by way of locomotive engineer and railroad supervisor Ralph Rapa. The brewery will appear in the Westcreek Plaza at 4800 W. Hillsboro Blvd, Suites A12-13. Rapa reports that they are in the process of obtaining permits, and he hopes to begin the build out soon.

The establishment was first reported to be coming to Parkland, but Rapa told What Now Miami that they have abandoned the Parkland plans and will now open in Coconut Creek. Rapa cited tighter restrictions and regulations as a reason for the move.

During a phone interview on Thursday, Rapa shared that he derived the name Rule G from the railroad industry rule against being drunk on the job. With a railroad theme, Rapa hopes to appeal to the whole family. Offering beer and wine for the adults, a model locomotive for the kids and food and games for everyone. The food you can expect, as Rapa describes it, will be “conducive to beer drinkin.’” Live music, open mic nights and trivia will also be mainstays of the establishment.

The vision for the project has been in the works for about a year now, and Rapa is finally seeing the wheels turn. His son will also be working with him in bringing the brewery to Coconut Creek. Get more updates on the website.
