Chicago-based What If… Syndicate will open etta, a relaxed concept offering a welcoming attitude. The creative partners behind etta are also those that brought the award-winning steak houses Maple & Ash.

There are three locations open between Illinois and California, and four are on the way across Arizona, Texas and Florida. The Fort Lauderdale location will be located at 1002 E Las Olas Boulevard

According to Chef and Partner Danny Grant, the restaurant is under construction now. An opening date is unavailable at this time, but Grant assured that he would soon be making an announcement with specific details.

Diners can expect a neighborhood, local atmosphere and a curated menu. According to the website, “From crave-worthy pizza and warm focaccia, to fresh, crisp seasonal salads to family-style shared pig and lobster picnics, etta has something for everyone.”

The restaurant will near other eateries on Las Olas: Caffe Europa, Piazza Italia and Vinos on Las Olas.

Keep up to date with their website and social media for updates.
