More Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers looks to be in store for Broward County. A new outpost of the chicken fingers chain was proposed for Tamarac’s Nouveau Quarter redevelopment area, according to recent coverage by the South Florida Business Journal.
“The real estate company [MIA Realty, LLC] is exploring the possibility of opening a Raising Cane’s between NW 57th Street and NW 70th Street,” says the Business Journal coverage. “The proposed Raising Cane’s would have a two-lane drive-through with space for 25 vehicles, if approved by the city.”
Based in Louisiana, Raising Cane’s has been hard at work expanding its footprint in South Florida. The chain was founded by CEO Todd Graves, who famously created the concept for a college assignment (and received a failing grade, no less). He has since seen the Raising Cane’s chain grow to include more than 700 locations.
The brand’s streamlined menu is built around Combos like the Box Combo (4 Chicken Fingers, Crinkle-Cut Fries, One Cane’s Sauce, Texas Toast, Coleslaw, Regular Fountain Drink) or the larger Caniac Combo. Raising Cane’s chicken fingers can also be ordered in large boxes called Tailgates, featuring 25, 50, 75, and even 100 chicken fingers. Extras include the Raising Cane’s sandwich, Crinkle-Cut Fries, and the famous Cane’s Sauce.
